We prepare research manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals. That covers language editing, statistical review, journal selection, formatting and submission, and help answering reviewers. The name notwithstanding, we do not publish journals ourselves: we work on the author's side of publication, we are independent of every journal our clients submit to, and no one here can influence an editorial decision.
Life sciences, medicine, engineering, physical sciences, social sciences and humanities. Every manuscript is assigned to an editor with a research degree in the relevant field, so the match is to your subject rather than to a general science desk.
Editors hold a PhD or equivalent in the field they edit, and most have published and peer-reviewed in it. Statistical review is handled separately by biostatisticians rather than by the language editor.
A grammar checker corrects sentences it can parse. An editor who knows your field can tell that a claim overstates the data, that a comparison is missing its baseline, or that a reviewer will ask about a method you have not described. Those are the changes that decide acceptances.
No, and neither can anyone else — acceptance is the journal's decision and rests on the research. We guarantee the quality of our own work: if you are not satisfied with the editing, we refund the fee.
You do, throughout. We claim no rights over your work, we do not use manuscripts to train anything, and files are held under access controls and deleted on request.
A standard manuscript is returned in three to five working days. Shorter turnarounds are available. We confirm the date when we quote, and we hold to it.
Send the abstract, or the whole manuscript if you prefer. We read it and reply with an assessment and a fixed price within one working day. There is no charge for the assessment.
